May 24 Robert Richter Acoustic Folk
The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum welcomes Portland musician Robert Richter for a concert performance at 7pm. Richter is an easygoing singer, songwriter and guitarist, who plays a blend of Celtic, blues, folk, and rock. Richter's credits include appearing on Tom May's nationally syndicated radio program "River City Folk," carried on more than 250 NPR affiliates nationwide. In addition, his music was played on the "Bob Dylan Radio Hour" heard on Sirius Satellite Network and on KUSF-FM in San Francisco. June 14-16 Cannon Beach Sandcastle Festival

See Cannon Beach through the eyes of the artist. En plein air or in the open air, artists create art on location throughout the town and on the beach. All artist participate in a group show on Friday evening at the Cannon Beach Chamber building. Gallery receptions on Saturday evening showcase individual artists and their works.
