Cribbage tournament sanctioned by the American Cribbage Congress (ACC). Starts Friday night with doubles & singles play, 3:00pm–10:00pm. Saturday is the 22-game main tournament. Play- offs on Sunday. November 7 Ocian in View Lecture - Recruiting Volunteers
The Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum will present a lecture by well-known Lewis and Clark historian Barb Kubik at 6pm. November 8 Ocian in View-Dismal Nitch Tour
Join Washington State Historical Society's manager Jim Sayce at 9am for a bus tour of local projects on the Dismal Nitch.The tour will use journals of Lewis and Clark to guide the participants along the landscape of the river as it might have been over 200 years ago to find the "real" Dismal Nitch. (Dismal Nitch was the site of Lewis & Clark's most difficult adventure. At this location on the north shore of the Columbia River, the expedition was pinned to the river bank by raging weather. November 8 Chinook Tribe Salmon Dinner
As part of the 'Ocian in View' Weekend the Chinook Tribe will host an Annual Salmon Dinner at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, from 4-7pm. The dinner will include regional seafood, salad, Indian fry bread, dessert and beverages. Cost is $15 per person, seniors (55 and over) $13, children under 12 $5. Reservations are not required.
