Through October 1 Memories of Megler Exhibit
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the completion of the Astoria-Megler Bridge. This special exhibit utilizes historic photographs and first person accounts, to capture Megler at the end of the ferry era and the beginning of contemporary auto access on Highway 101. September 9 Slow Drag at the Port
Hot Rods compete in a coasting competition along the Port of Ilwaco, 5-7pm. Cars have about 15 feet to accelerate before coasting about 200 yards. Port of Ilwaco 360.642.2400
September 10-11 Rod Run to the End of the World

September 16-18 Cache Dash Splash
A contemporary way to hunt for treasure on the Long Beach Peninsula. This annual event brings together geocachers from near and far to log up to 100 new geocaches. Long Beach Peninsula [more info]
September 17 Seaview Oktoberfest

September 23-24 Blues and Seafood Festival

October 1-November 15 Wild Mushroom Celebration
The Long Beach Peninsula is host to a variety of delectable wild mushrooms. November 11-12 Ocian In View Cultural Weekend
When Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery joyfully exclaimed "Ocian in View" they knew they had reached their westward overland destination.
