June 3-4 Annual Nehalem Crab Derby Benefit
There will be games for kids, music, prizes and crabbing of course. Admission is $10, 9am-5pm. Proceeds will be donated to Rockaway Lion Club and the North Coast Wildlife Center. Jetty Fishery 503.368.5746
July 21-23 Manzanita Music Festival
Americana, blues, jazz, funk, country, folk, pop and reggae all collide to make this a beach festival for the ages.Held on multiple stages throughout Manzanita, the event encourages attendees to wander and take it all in. See website for updates. Various Locations [more info]
July 22 27th Annual Manzanita Beach Walk & Run
Come see why so many are calling this one of the most scenic runs in the region, 7:30am-12pm. The race begins at the foot of the Laneda Avenue, that runs through the center of Manzanita, on the sandy shores of Manzanita Beach. There will be music playing to pump runners up for their event as well as snacks afterwards for runners to refuel on. Awards for top finishers as well a raffle for prizes will be held afterwards. July 29 Manzanita Writers Series Special Event

September 23 SOLVE Fall Beach & Riverside Cleanup
The Beach & Riverside Cleanup began in 1984 as "The Plague of Plastics" after Oregonians, Judie Hansen and Eleanor Dye, were inspired to rid the state's beaches of litter.
