Brewer's Memorial Ale Fest
The dog-friendly brew festival includes over 50 microbrews, live music, doggy musical chairs, dog wash, dog dancing and celebrity dog look-alikes (Rin-Tin-Tin, Lassie, Benji and of course Brewer). Newport Celtic Festival & Highland Games
The 2nd Annual family (and dog) friendly event includes several free events as well as ticketed events throughout the weekend. The festival offers music, dancing and family events with vendors. The Highland Games include the Caber Toss, Scottish Hammer, Kilt Run and more. Friday 9am to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 10pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. The Aerial display will be launched from a new location on private property just east of the Port of Newport International Terminal on Yaquina Bay Road. With the new location, officials say the best fireworks viewing area will be from the Hatfield Marine Science Center in South Beach. The parking lot will be open to pedestrian traffic only. Family Sleepover at the Aquarium
You'll have the Aquarium to yourself as you travel through exhibits on a scavenger hunt, participate in hands-on activities and experience early morning behind-the-scenes at the Aquarium. After a fun-filled evening exploring life under the ocean, be lulled to sleep by the soothing sights of our Passages of the Deep tunnels. All of our sleepovers include a dinner of hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, a green salad, chips and soda. The Gathering: 10th Annual Longboard Classic
Brewer's on the Bay will be open for food and drink—this starts the Gathering. Rogue will be on the beach serving refreshments during the contest both days along with games and activities for all.
