Spring Whale Watch
March 24-31
During spring Whale Watch Week, visitors can spot migrating Gray Whales with the help of trained interpreters, March 24-31, 2018. The Whale Watching Spoken Here program, coordinated by Oregon State Parks, places hundreds of volunteers at 24 locations along the coast. Spring migration offers the best opportunity of the year to spot Gray Whales as they travel north to food-rich waters off Alaska. During spring migration, whales typically make a more leisurely trip, taking time to feed and pass closer to the shore. This northern journey can also stretch into early summer, as mothers with calves travel slower along this route. March 23-26 7th Annual Oregon Ghost Conference

March 24-25 SOLVE Spring Beach Cleanup

May 19-20 Spring Downtown Wine Walk
Seaside opens its doors and its bottles to welcome wine enthusiasts from 3-7pm during this wine tasting event. Over 20 participating wineries will sell unopened bottles, allowing visitors to take home their favorite new find. Most of the wineries charge a small tasting fee, making it an inexpensive way to experience new wines and also see what downtown Seaside has to offer. June 15-17 Muscle and Chrome Car Show
One of the Oregon Coast's premier car shows,this popular event is a celebration of show-quality vehicles from 1960 to 1978 and factory performance vehicles from 1979 to present. Various Locations 503.717.1914 [more info]
June 16-18 Soccer in the Sand

July 22-23 Downtown Garden Tour
City gardener Pam Fleming will share the history and background of the downtown pocket gardens at a morning presentation, followed by a guided walking tour of Seaside's themed pocket gardens. Various Locations
August 9-13 37th Annual Beach Volleyball Tournament

August 25-26 Hood to Coast Relay Finish Line
Teams, runners, volunteers and spectators gather on the beach to celebrate the big finish with food, a beer garden, music, awards and more. Seaside Beach [more info]
September 6-10 Seaside Wheels and Waves

September 29-30 SOLVE Beach & Riverside Cleanup
Join thousands of volunteers to cleanup Oregon's beaches. SOLVE projects are community driven and focus on cleaning up and restoring natural areas and neighborhoods with hands-on work. Supplies and instructions are provided and all ages and abilities are encouraged to join in. To volunteer, register and view a list of project sites, call or visit online. December 27-January 1 2019 Winter Whale Watch
