Through June 26 USA Footvolley: 2016 National Team Qualifying Competition
Seaside is the stage for the finals, where the overall winner from 16 teams, competing from noon until 4pm each day, will be awarded a flight to Rio de Janeiro to represent the USA in the Olympic demonstration event. On the Beach [more info]
July 1 Circle Creek Discovered Nature Walk
Join naturalist and photographer Neal Maine for a morning dedicated to slowing down and observing the dynamic processes at work in the Sitka Spruce swamp accessed from the Circle Creek Trail. Rather than focusing on the names of the plants and animals, participants will attempt to see the plants and animals with fresh eyes, leading to a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of the forest and those that dwell and visit there—including ourselves.The walk is from 10am until noon and will be a total of 0.8 mile to and around the Circle Creek Trail and back. July 4 Independence Day Parade
This Seaside tradition of a grand parade includes floats and marching bands beginning at 11am.The route begins at Necanicum Drive and 12th Avenue, lead by a police escort, heading east on 12th Avenue before turning right onto Holladay and right again onto Broadway. The parade will march all the way down Broadway until it turns, heading north on Columbia and then east on 1st Avenue again, ending at Necanicum and the Seaside Museum where an Old Fashioned Social will begin at noon. July 4 Drum & Bugle Corps Performance
It's big sound and big fun for the whole family at 1:30pm.Enjoy the heart stopping rhythm of these professional performers while they pull off amazing performances featuring choreographed movements along with music from their marching band instruments. July 4 Old Fashion Social

July 9-14 Spotlight Dance Cup

July 16 50th Annual Seaside Beach Run
Race includes 5K and 10K beach runs, timed and non-timed 5K walks on the historic Promenade and a free "Kid's Sand Dash" and Treasure Hunt for children under 12 years old with prizes awarded in several age groups. July 29-31 Summer Square Dance Fest
Come dance at a beach party in 2016 with the Oregon Federation of Square and Round Dance Clubs and attend their 2016 Summer Festival, "Seaside Beach Party". August 11-14 Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament

August 27 Hood to Coast Relay Finish Line
The Hood To Coast Relay is 199 miles long stretching from Mt. Hood to the Oregon coast. The event includes 12,600 runners and over 3000 volunteers. After the relay, everyone gathers at the finish line on the Seaside Beach for food, music, awards and more. On the Beach 503.292.4626
