Between Seal Rock and Cape Perpetua lie the villages of Waldport and Yachats as well as 16 miles of unforgettable views and opportunities to park and walk to the water's edge. From tidepools to sandy beaches and primeval forests, this is nature at its best.

Yachats Area
Attractions and Recreation:

  • Cape Perpetua State Scenic Area

    A 2700-acre area of old-growth forest, crashing surf and hiking trails. There is a campground, day-use area and visitor center. Spectacular wave action at Devil's Churn and Cook's Chasm.

  • Seal Rock State Park

    Beach, wildlife viewing platforms, picnic area and restrooms.

  • Yachats State Recreation Area

    Tidepools on a rocky beach, viewing platform.

  • Driftwood Beach State Park

    Beach access, picnic areas and restrooms.

  • Waldport Heritage Museum

    Museum open Wednesday through Friday, noon to 4pm.
