Astoria-Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival April 27-29, 2012

Celebrate the flavors of the Northwest with this annual spring event on the North Coast!

Article Image Celebrate the flavors of the Northwest with the annual Astoria-Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival. This long-running North Coast event takes place in April at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds in Astoria. Over 200 booths feature Pacific Northwest wines, as well as arts, crafts, jewelry and other festive wares. At the annual Festival Wine Competition, wineries vie for Best of Show awards. You'll find a wide selection of cuisine, including your favorite seafood dishes. Local breweries make appearances at the beer garden and live music is on tap all weekend. The festival kicks off Friday evening and continues all day Saturday and through the afternoon on Sunday. Purchase a single day pass or save with a weekend pass for all three days, admission is free for children under 12. Parking can be limited at the event, but convenient shuttle services are offered from several area locations, including stops in downtown Astoria and Warrenton, and at stores, motels and campgrounds. The festivities are held indoors, so rain or shine there's plenty of fun to be had at the Astoria-Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival!
