From seafood and steak to regional craft beers and wine, you'll enjoy a wide range of local flavor during your visit to Seaside.

Seafood, of course, is the top attraction for visitors and locals alike. Dungeness crab, oysters, salmon, shrimp and tuna are served in a variety of ways in eateries all over town. Many restaurants also offer a bounty of regionally sourced meats, cheese, fresh produce and Northwest wines and beer. You can sample Pacific Coast seafood and steaks in just about any atmosphere you're after.

Seaside's Finest
For fine dining or a special night out, visitors can find several spots serving seasonal Northwest cuisine. At Maggie's on the Prom, the quaint dining room, cozy fireplace and ocean views give patrons an intimate setting for special occasions. Sure bets include a nutty hazelnut-crusted halibut and crispy pan-fried oysters. The Boardwalk Restaurant & Lounge at Shilo Inn offers the best view in town from its oceanfront location at the Turnaround. Guests can take advantage of seasonal outdoor seating on the Prom, or lounge indoors in comfortable, overstuffed club chairs enjoying the sunset from floor to ceiling picture windows. The big bar offers daily happy hour specials and live music on the weekends. Twisted Fish Steakhouse offers fresh coastal dining, serving all natural Northwest raised beef, fresh seafood, house made breads and desserts. The lounge features a full bar and 22 televisions to watch your favorite sporting events.

Pubs with Grub
Friends and families will find convenient, delicious and affordable dining options at several local pubs. Seaside Brewing Company offers craft brews and pub fare including vegan and gluten-free dishes. Chili, made with chunks of house-smoked beef brisket is a local favorite. A large patio accommodates pet friendly outdoor seating. For a great burger check out the Relief Pitcher just south of downtown. Try the crowd favorite, pastrami cheeseburger, or the eight-ounce Grand Slam burger with ham, egg, Tillamook cheddar and provolone. After surfing or strolling the Cove, keep the beach vibe going at U Street Pub & Eatery. You will find a rotating selection of craft beer and hot sandwiches with a creative twist.

You'll find seafood restaurants that also cater to families. Dooger's Seafood & Grill offers a wide array of surf and turf dishes. Fish and seafood are cooked according to preference; lightly coated, deep or pan fried, sautéed or Cajun style. There is something to please everyone's palate with a big menu and delicious desserts. Norma's Seafood & Steak is a popular choice for classic coastal ambiance and cuisine. Norma's carries regional wines and microbrews and specializes in quality seafood. Offering both "junior citizens" and toddler menus for kids, this spot is perfect for families with children. At Fultano's Pizza, it's not a pizza parlor with an arcade; it's the Oregon Coast's largest arcade with pizza. Kids will be thrilled with Fultano's Pizza located within Funland arcade. The whole family can play Skee-Ball, shoot hoops and enjoy the outside street-scape with doors open to the sidewalk.
