OCEAN VIEW RESORTS
Cannon Beach's oceanfront resorts range from luxury accommodations to those offering casual, family-friendly comforts, many featuring panoramic views that include iconic Haystack Rock.
The Hallmark Resort & Spa is the closest resort to Haystack Rock, perched on the hillside just north of Cannon Beach's famous landmark. A winding stairway leads guests to the beach just a short stroll from Haystack's tidepools. From your oceanfront room, you can observe nesting seabirds including the Rock's famous colony of Tufted Puffins. Most of Hallmark Resort's guest rooms are oceanfront with spacious walkout balconies. Some offer full kitchens and many have gas fireplaces. The resort features an on-site spa, Elements By the Sea, and an indoor pool. Just to the north is Surfsand Resort, offering stylish, contemporary guest rooms and suites with a serene, tranquil vibe while also catering to the kids and featuring pet-friendly rooms and pet-free rooms. The Surfsand features an indoor pool, fitness center, on-site massage rooms and the resort's Wayfarer Restaurant, offering oceanview dining and room service, is just steps away. At the south end of Cannon Beach, adjacent to the Tolovana Park Wayside is Tolovana Inn. Next-door is the oceanfront Mo's restaurant.
OCEAN VIEWS STEPS FROM DOWNTOWN ATTRACTIONS
Several oceanfront lodging properties are located in the downtown area of Cannon Beach, where you will be just steps away from downtown attractions, restaurants, art galleries and retail shops. Near the 2nd Street beach access, you'll find four of Cannon Beach's oceanfront lodging options: Land's End Motel, The Waves, Schooner's Cove Inn and Webb's Scenic Surf, each with its own personality. Most rooms at these properties offer views of the ocean at the mouth of Ecola Creek, rainforest-covered Tillamook Head and the Tillamook Rock lighthouse offshore.
Land's End Motel is located right at the beach access steps and offers an outdoor spa and oceanfront terrace available to all guests. Next door is Schooner's Cove Inn that features a beachfront lawn with barbecues and picnic tables and an oceanfront spa for relaxing and watching the surf. All rooms have kitchens and are pet-free. To the north is The Waves, a complex including a private beach house, semi-private cottages, studios and suites including up to three bedrooms. An oceanfront jetted spa is open to all guests. The Waves is 100 percent pet-free and smoking-free. Next door is Webb's Scenic Surf, a classic oceanfront motel that has been family owned and operated for three generations. All oceanfront rooms include fireplaces, decks, lawn and kitchenettes.

Several Cannon Beach hotels offer a little something different. Since 1914, the Cannon Beach Hotel offers hotel amenities with B&B charm. Rooms are furnished with four-poster beds, fireplaces and claw-foot soaking tubs. The Courtyard provides a quiet respite tucked away from downtown where each of the 13 units looks out on a private courtyard. The owner of Wave Crest Inn opens his home to guests, offering ocean view and ocean breeze rooms. No kids, pets or TV here to compromise the serene atmosphere. The chateau-style architecture of the Arch Cape Inn & Retreat lends an air of romance. The inn offers many rooms from a cozy studio to a two-story suite with complimentary three-course gourmet breakfast and afternoon wine and light appetizers. Ecola Creek Lodge brings Cape Cod style to the Oregon coast. The Turret Suite offers a full kitchen, fireplace and dining in the circular turret.
COTTAGES & BUNGALOWS
McBee Cottages has ten units in two buildings that feature white bead-board interiors and box beamed ceilings in classic Cape Cod style for that classic beach atmosphere. Each cottage is located around a central courtyard with Spanish style fountain and rose garden. At the Hidden Villa Cottages you will find six identical cottages except for the color scheme. Each unit has separate bedroom, full kitchen, living room, bath and fireplace.
