Mutt Masters Dog Show and Olympics in Lincoln City, Oregon is open to dogs and handlers of all skill levels.
Mutt Masters Dog Show and Olympics in Lincoln City, Oregon is a fun affair for dogs and handlers of all skill levels to compete for titles like Tail Wag Champ, Fabulous Frisbee Catcher and Sweetest Smoocher, to name a few. The competition begins at noon on May 19 at the old Taft Elementary School located at 1545 SE 50th Street in Lincoln City.
The day features seven physical contests and three show categories followed by the Best in Show that features the first place winners of each of the other 10 events. The physical contests include Cutest Puppy, Unusual Pet Trick and Most Distinguished Elder for dogs seven years and older. The show categories are Best Dressed, Most Unique Looking and a Dog/Human Lookalike Contest. Prize packages will be given to first, second and third place winners. Best in Show will receive a prize package worth over $400, including an overnight stay in a pet-friendly lodging facility.
Friendly dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds are welcome to participate in any or all categories. Registration begins at 11am with the contests and shows beginning at noon. Registration fee is $3 per dog, per category or $25 per dog for unlimited entries.
At this family friendly event there will be human food booths as well as doggie vendors, prizes and more. There will be raffles held throughout the day with prizes that include gift certificates, goodies for both humans and doggies along with glass floats and more. Spectator suggested donation is $5 per person, kids 12 and under get in for free. A bag of dry pet food will also get spectators free admission. All proceeds and dry food donations go to the Lincoln County Animal Shelter. For more information call (800) 452-2151.
