Meridian Restaurant Opens in Pacific City

Meridian restaurant and bar opened at the new Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa in Pacific City, Oregon. The lodge and restaurant opened in December. Executive chef Andrew Garrison's specialties include wine and food pairings, developing seasonal menus, foraging, whole-beast butchery, charcuterie and gluten-free cooking. Garrison will develop an extremely seasonal, ocean-to-table menu for Meridian, focusing on Northwest coastal cuisine. The restaurant will source from North Coast fishing operations, local vendors and Mary’s Herb Garden at the lodge. Meridian will also host special beer and wine-focused dinners, drawing wines from the Willamette Valley and brews from Pelican Brewing just next door. The main dining area will seat 40 people with an additional 16 at the open bar. Some of the bar seating will be purposed as a chef’s table, with food prepared tableside. The restaurant has sky-high windows with ocean views and an indoor patio lounge with accordion style windows that open completely. Private dining options are available for groups.
