Cajun Comfort Food in Lincoln City

Chef Etienne Saucier started began his Cajun roots working in Louisiana restaurants before he making his way to Oregon. After dabbling in the food cart scene, he and his wife Anna opened Klementine's Kitchen in Lincoln City's Taft District in October. The eatery serves Cajun-inspired comfort with an Oregon Coast twist. Menu offerings focus on local products like Dungeness Crab, Pacific Shrimp, oysters and mushrooms. Offering a limited menu and located in a small house, Chef Saucier blends big flavors, spices and textures into savory dishes like his seafood gumbo. Prepared with a dark roux, the bowl is filled with oysters, bay shrimp and thumb-sized sections of crab. The chef's hot sauce adds a piquant flavor and the right amount of zip. Klementine's Kitchen, 4660 SW Hwy 101, Lincoln City, Oregon (541) 418-5371
