Art Nights Out & About
Published: 06/08/2017  Updated: 06/09/2017

Up and down the Oregon Coast, galleries extend their hours and open their doors for art walk events.

Every month galleries, boutiques, eateries and unique spaces open their doors in some coastal communities as a way to connect with visitors and locals in promoting the arts. A community art walk is an opportunity for both art enthusiasts and those simply looking for a pleasant evening out to wander from venue to venue to view artwork, meet the artists, shop and socialize. Art walks typically feature show openings, artist demonstrations, food samplings and live music. The process is simple – proceed at your own pace, wander into galleries and shops, stroll around and perhaps meet some interesting people along the way.
