The Baked Crab Mac & Cheese rates high on our list because it is very crabby...in a good way. Crab, Tillamook cheddar and Parmesan cheese are the primary elements in this dish. The top is slightly crunchy and caramelized but it's very creamy when you dig in. The cheeses are not overpowering and the crab is the star in this coastal take on traditional comfort food. Smugglers Cove Crepe at Crepe Neptune in Cannon Beach
The sweet side of Crepe Neptune in Cannon Beach is evident in the Smugglers Cove. Just looking at this crepe is a treat with its fresh strawberries and bananas covered in chocolate, or Nutella if you prefer, and dressed up with whipped cream and powdered sugar. The cheesecake alone at the Wayfarer Restaurant & Lounge in Cannon Beach has that classic New York vibe but the Lemon cheesecake offers several other tasty dimensions. Start with the graham cracker crust, the dense tangy cheesecake, a layer of thick sweet custard, drizzle of lemon sauce and a swirl of thick whipped cream.
