Spring Unveiling Art Festival Showcases New Works by Gallery Artists, May 4-6, 2012

This annual event is an opportunity for visitors to experience the artistry alive in Cannon Beach.

Sculptor Don Rambadt will be at Bronze Coast Gallery unveiling new work. Artists represented in galleries throughout Cannon Beach, Oregon, unveil their latest works during the first weekend in May at the annual Spring Unveiling Art Festival, May 4-6. Each day over the unveiling weekend visitors can experience art in a variety of mediums from oils, acrylics, found objects, wearable art and so much more. Many guest artists will also be on hand to demonstrate their techniques and discuss their work at gallery receptions throughout the weekend.

Events begin Friday afternoon and are carefully scheduled throughout the weekend to allow art lovers to attend many of the events. Pick up the complete schedule of events at any participating gallery to make your plan. Many renowned artists will be in town for the event. Sculptors Georgia Gerber and Lilian Pitt will be at Northwest By Northwest Gallery while glass artist Michelle Kaptur will be at Icefire Glassworks. Demonstrations will be held at several galleries including Primary Elements Gallery and Jeffrey Hull Gallery.
