Concerts by the Sea at Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City

Article ImageVeronica RussellAaron Lewis, lead singer from Staind, rocked the stage recently with an acoustic set list at Chinook Winds Casino Resort's Concerts by the Sea. The limelight may be the universal dream for rock stars, but the dream for concert lovers is seeing the band up close and personal. You can't get much dreamier than front row seats at a B. B. King concert where you can watch the master's fingers work magic on the frets. At Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, their Concerts by the Sea showroom offers the opportunity to see and hear some big name acts in a perfectly intimate setting. The concert hall seats only 1277, but it has all the lights, stage and acoustics to deliver bands like The B52s, Vince Gill and The Beach Boys, all scheduled acts this fall and winter.

The venue's intimate setting offers experiences that you just can't get in large arenas. On tour with an acoustic set list in June, rocker Aaron Lewis, lead singer of Staind (pictured here), quieted the crowd during an encore, switched off his mic and amps and stepped to the edge of the stage to go completely unplugged for his last song of the night. Pure voice and guitar - priceless.

The Concerts by the Sea showroom also features live comedy acts, as well as the popular Cosmic Bingo events at the casino and offers refreshments for guests. Take in your next concert by the sea in Lincoln City. At Chinook Winds' Concerts by the Sea showroom, there truly is no bad seat in the house. - by Veronica Russell
