Yummy Wine Bar & Bistro in Seaside, Oregon is offering a new dessert: Chocolate Budino topped with Candied Black Cherry Compote and house-made vanilla ice cream. Budino is a luscious cross between cake and pudding. It's very moist and fluffy, but not wet. Owner/Chef Corey Albert has created a rich mildly spiced dark chocolate flavor with a small amount of milk chocolate to soften the edges. The black cherry compote is candied black cherries stewed in ruby port. The finishing touch is a house-made vanilla ice cream with a hint of cinnamon.
