The Chessman Gallery at the Lincoln City Cultural Center presents Darle and Patrick Maveety, Salishan residents and former gallery owners, in a show titled "A Local's Point of View," August 3 through 27. Patrick Maveety will be showing realistic watercolors painted from photographs he has taken. Darle Maveety plans a show of small format watercolors featuring flowers, ocean scenes, grasses, dunes and trees from the vicinity of her Salishan home. Meet the artists at a reception in Chessman Gallery from 5-7pm on Friday, August 3. Lincoln City Cultural Center in Lincoln City, Oregon (541) 994-9994.
