Scenic Railroad Tours
Experience the coast from a vintage 1910 Heisler Steam Locomotive as it pulls you along for a tour of the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. Coast excursions leave from Rockaway Beach at 1pm and 3pm, weekends June through September. The 90-minute round trip takes riders on a tour along Tillamook Bay with a stop over in Garibaldi. Riders 11 years and up pay $15, ages 3-10 are $7 and ages 2 and under ride free, reservations advised. For $30 a rider can sit in the cab of the locomotive (limit 2 riders, restrictions apply). Three-hour dinner tours are also available through out the year. Reservations required, (503) 842-7972.
