Two Summer Exhibits at Cannon Beach Gallery

Article ImageOne Fine Spring Day, Watercolor / Mixed Media by Carol Riley Cannon Beach Gallery in Cannon Beach, Oregon has two exhibits scheduled during the summer months. "Sitka Center for Art and Ecology / Five Artists" is an invitational show curated by featured artist Carol Riley. Located at Cascade Head on the Oregon Coast, the Sitka Center offers workshops and residency programs in art and nature. This exhibit will showcase Sitka Center founder Frank Boyden and instructors Carol Riley, Greg Wilbur, Andie Thrams and Deborah DeWit. The show begins June 28 and runs through July 31. An artist reception is Saturday, June 30 from 6-8pm.

"Coastal Flora and Fauna" features the beauty of the Northwest Coast through the eyes of artists such as Sally Lackaff, Liza Jones, Donna Sakamoto Crispin and Barbara Temple Ayres. This exhibit runs August 4 through September 3 with an artist reception on Saturday, August 4 from 6-8pm.
