This basalt rimmed bay is a great place to picnic, take in panoramic views and watch resident and migrating Gray Whales and seabirds. At low tide, you can see the boiler on the J. Marhoffer, which sank here in 1910.
Fogarty Creek State Recreation Area

Meander across the wooden footbridge through a forest of Sitka Spruce, Western Hemlock, Shore Pine and Alder Forest. The park offers hiking trails, picnic areas and beach access.
Gleneden Beach State Recreation Site
